On the morning of April 17, 2018, a delegation of 14 teachers and students led by Ye Xinyi, Director of International and Cross-Strait Affairs Department of Taiwan Daren University of Science and Technology, visited our college. Wu Lirong, Vice President of the College, Gu Shuqin, Vice Director of the Foreign Affairs Office and other relevant personnel received the guests.

On behalf of the College, Vice President Wu Lirong warmly welcomed the arrival of teachers and students from Taiwan Daren University of Science and Technology. Vice Director Gu Shuqin introduced the situation of our college from the aspects of its general situation, history, personnel training and school running characteristics. Director Ye Xinyi introduced the basic situation and professional characteristics of Taiwanese Daren University of Science and Technology. The two sides also exchanged views on such topics as exchanges of teachers and students, and credit recognition between the two sides.
The delegation visited the Library and Information Center of the college and the Popular Science Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Department of Pharmacology. They learned about the application of information technology in the Library and Information Center and the Wumen Medical Culture. The 11 visiting students also exchanged and communicated with the students majoring in pharmacy and traditional Chinese medicine from the Department of Pharmacology in terms of study, life, customs and human relations, thus further deepening the friendship between the two schools. The delegation highly praised the personnel training, faculty building and information construction of our college.

In recent years, Taiwan Daren University of Science and Technology has maintained friendly contacts with our college. This visit is the first time that students there come to our college. The face-to-face communication between students lays a good foundation for further exchanges in the future, and also promotes cross-strait exchanges and cooperation to a new level.
